Raised on light.
I'm Alex Vale. I grew up watching Miami change — the light on Biscayne Bay at six in the morning, the way neon bounces off Wynwood brick at night, the golden hour on South Beach that lasts just long enough if you know where to stand. That's what led me to photography.
For me, a photograph isn't just documentation. It's a decision — about what's worth preserving, what truth looks like in a frame. Whether I'm working with a couple at Vizcaya, a brand at Faena, or an executive on the 40th floor in Brickell, the goal is the same: make something that still means something years from now.
I specialize in three areas because I love the contrast. Portraits demand intimacy. Weddings demand speed and instinct. Commercial work demands vision and control. Each one makes me a better photographer in the others.
